Depending on the season, you can enjoy the blossoms of 250 plum trees and 2,300 Japanese iris plants while sipping amazake (sweet sake) at Yakushi Teahouse.

take bus 53 or 55 departing from Stop No. 21 in front of POP Building, and get off at Yakushi-ike.
Located next to Yakushi-ike Park,
this park is home to golden-backed squirrels and Asiatic chipmunks.
You can feed the squirrels sunflower seeds from your hand and watch them eat.

This park, renowned as the largest expanse of greenery in the city,
is located in Tama Hills and is visited by streams of people all year round.
Built in beautiful natural surroundings, the park's main facilities include not only a public golf course,
but also the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art Kawasaki, traditional folk houses,
a Traditional Craft Center, Kawasaki Municipal Science Museum for Youth,
a Planetarium, an observation platform at the top of Mt. Masugata, and an iris garden.
